About Us
Jennifer Wolfe is a DONA-certified doula, clinical and medical hypnotherapist, yoga instructor, childbirth educator, and Reiki master. She founded the Dolphin Yoga and Doula Center in 2002 to help birthing women and their partners have better birth experiences by providing knowledge, tools and a comforting environment for prenatal health and childbirth. As a hypnotherapist for the past eight years, Jennifer has pioneered Childbirth Hypnosis, a unique methodology she developed for gentle birthing and anxiety reduction. Jennifer utilizes Childbirth Hypnosis and yoga in her doula practice to achieve deep mind and body relaxation. She has prepared hundreds of pregnant women for childbirth and provided doula support in around 100 births at Mills Peninsula, Sequoia, Kaiser, Stanford, El Camino, Good Samaritan, Valley Care Medical Center, Pleasanton Birth Home, and California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) hospitals.
Jennifer directs the Center's pre-and postnatal yoga classes, incorporating Ashtanga, and Vinyasa Flow style yoga postures. She is an educator at the Palo Alto School of Hypnotherapy, where she offers Hypnodoula and Childbirth Hypnosis certification to doulas and hypnotherapists. Jennifer also provides Reiki therapy, education and certification. She is a member of the American Association of Professional Hypnotherapists (AAPH). She lives on the Peninsula with her husband,
Moe and their 4-year old daughter, Sydney.
